The Chairperson presides at all meetings of the Board of Trustees, appoints all committees of the Conservatory, and has such other powers and duties as the Board from time to time may prescribe. In the absence of the Chairperson, the Vice Chairperson shall perform the duties of the office of the Chairperson. The board chair also serves as the liaison between the board and other Conservatory staff. The board chair, in collaboration with the full board, oversees the work of the CEO and other administrative staff.
