After spending half of his life in Germany and the other half in the USA Matthias studied film directing at Diemedienakademie in Munich in the year 2009 and graduated from Hochschule Mittweida, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 2014 in Film Production.
Ever since his internship at Roll Call Pictures in 2012, he has been a creative producer and editor and has worked together with Heide Fliegner in all the steps of Film Production and award-winning features such as Koma Kid and several commercials. He is currently working on his first feature Island of Individuals and as a supervisor at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory since 2018.
